Lhude sing, cuccu!
Groweþ sed and bloweþ med
and springeþ þe wude nu.
Sing cuccu!
Awe bleteþ after lomb,
lhouþ after calue cu,
Bulluc sterteþ, bucke uerteþ,
Murie sing cuccu!
Cuccu, cuccu,
Wel singes þu cuccu.
ne swilk þu nauer nu!
